Reliance Jio is down for thousands of users, you are not alone

“This morning, some Jio customers in Mumbai faced problems in availing seamless services on account of minor technical issues. The same has been resolved, and seamless services of Jio have been fully restored. We regret the inconvenience to our subscribers,” a Reliance Jio spokesperson said.

Reliance Jio service is seemingly down for many users in India. While the service is working fine for many people in Delhi, the issue seems to be limited to Mumbai users, as per the complaints made on X (previously Twitter). Here is everything you need to know about it.
The popular Down Detector website shows that more than 10,000 people were affected by the Jio network issue, which was first reported at 12:15PM. It shows that 65 per cent of users experienced no signal issues and 19 per cent had issues with mobile internet. Around 16 percent of Jio users have issues with JioFiber network.
Interestingly, some people on X have also reported issues with the MyJio app, saying that it is not loading for them. At the moment, Reliance hasn’t acknowledged the issue but since this has not impacted millions of users, the network problem is expected to be solved soon.
